2015 What a year.
2015 was definitely one of the weirdest years of my entire existence. The year started out pretty freaking great. I was married, I lived in a small town that I didn't really like, but I was happy. I got a job that I loved as a dental assistant, and I was doing pretty well. I started my new job off with a business trip to Las Vegas which was fun! I learned a lot. In June my mom got her second open heart surgery, I was terrified, but things went well, and aside from a permanent clicks, she's back to normal. Something I am beyond grateful for. Whilst my mom was going through her heart surgery, I came in contact with my birth father's family. I found out that he had passed in 2012, and that I wasn't going to be able to meet him as I had hoped. However it has been really nice to get to know his family. They are great people. Around the same time all of this was going on, Carson and I realized that we couldn't stand each other, and started to drift apart. I took a trip to Georgia this year, and it was incredible! What a beautiful place! I reunited with an old roommate who was also going through a divorce and we became close again, in fact she is my number one confidant and one of the only people who has been there for me through everything I've been going through. I reunited also with Hunter, my high school sweetheart, who was also going through a divorce. So, Haley and Hunter and I were kind of the divorce squad for a while. In October I moved back to Provo, On Halloween. Shortly after Hunter and I realized that our feelings for each other had never really gone away, so we decided to take a chance on dating, even though it was insane. We knew we would be judged for it, but honestly, we made each other happy, so we went for it. Another big thing that happened this last year, was that I had been experiencing some pretty severe pelvic pain. I never could figure out what it was, and just attributed it to being cramps. As time went on the pain got more and more intense, along with some other side affects. So the doctor had me come in and do a pelvic ultrasound. We discovered that I have PCOS(Polycystic Ovary Syndrome)Which means that instead of ovulating, I grow Cysts on my ovaries, so I had about 10 Cysts on my ovaries and then I also had multiple benign tumors in my uterus. It has been a long process to figure out what's going on and we are still running tests and figuring out the best way to deal with things. It's been kind of scary, because PCOS can cause infertility. And earlier in the year I had a miscarriage. The biggest thing though has just been the pain. I've pretty much had to live off of pain killers for the last few months, and it's been kind of miserable. All the crappy things aside, I am very hopeful for this new year. I really have a good feeling about 2016, and I am fully prepared to kick its ass. 2015 was an emotional roller coaster and to be honest, I'm glad its over.Goodbye Crappy 2015, Hello Beautiful, wonderful 2016. I'm living life to the fullest this year!
